Following the resignation of N. Chandrasekaran, Tata Trusts has officially begun the search process to appoint a new Chairman for Tata Sons.
The transition comes at a critical time for the $120-billion conglomerate, which is currently managing a ₹29,000-crore investment plan across its key subsidiaries.
The board is expected to finalize a shortlist of candidates by September 2026, with internal leaders like Noel Tata and TV Narendran cited as potential successors.
