FIFA has launched disciplinary proceedings against Argentina following altercations involving players and staff after their 1-0 loss to Spain in the World Cup final.
The investigation targets players Nahuel Molina and Leandro Paredes, along with assistant coach Roberto Ayala, for alleged assault under article 14 of the FIFA disciplinary code.
The Argentinian Football Association also faces charges for potential breaches including discriminatory chants, racist abuse, and the display of a banner regarding the Falkland Islands during the tournament.
