Two firefighters, Rohit Yadav and Tirathpal Singh, died on August 4, 2026, after a wall and iron beam collapsed during a fire at an electronic chip unit in Noida's Ecotech-3 area.

Three other firefighters, identified as Rajpal Singh, Manish Kumar, and Amit Kumar, were injured in the late-night incident on August 3 but are currently reported to be out of danger.

Police and the State Disaster Response Force are investigating the cause of the blaze, which required at least six fire brigade vehicles to bring under control.
