Hansal Mehta Begins Production on Scam 2010 Series

Director Hansal Mehta has commenced production on the third installment of the Scam franchise, titled Scam 2010, which explores the financial scandals surrounding businessman Subrata Roy.

The series, co-directed by Sumit Purohit and produced by Applause Entertainment and Birla Studios, features Siddharth Bodke as Subrata Roy and is based on Tamal Bandyopadhyay’s 2014 book.

Filming began in late May across locations including Lucknow, Mumbai, and Delhi, with production expected to conclude by mid-September ahead of a global premiere on SonyLIV in early 2027.
