Kangana Ranaut Questions Mandi Officials Over MPLADS Funds

BJP MP Kangana Ranaut confronted officials during a DISHA meeting in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, over the slow utilization of MPLADS funds in her constituency.

The 40-year-old MP stated that only Rs 50 lakh had been spent out of an available Rs 11 crore, despite officials previously claiming 90 per cent of the funds were utilized.

Ranaut cited agency findings alleging that 30-40 per cent of MPLADS funds in the region were distributed to fraudulent individuals, and she demanded a formal performance report on the expenditure.
