The Supreme Court directed actor Rajpal Yadav to deposit ₹2 crore by October 13 toward dues in a cheque-bounce case involving Murli Projects Pvt Ltd.
Rajpal Yadav appeared in court with a demand draft of ₹1.15 crore, while the remaining ₹85 lakh is scheduled to be paid through a property buyer by October 13.
The case stems from a 2010 loan for the film 'Ata Pata Laapata', which led to seven dishonoured cheques of ₹1.05 crore each and subsequent legal proceedings.
