IIT Guwahati partnered with Tata Electronics to establish education, skill development, and research programs focused on semiconductor Assembly, Testing, Marking, and Packaging.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by Prof. Rohit Sinha and Tata Electronics CHRO Ranjan Bandyopadhyay at the IIT Guwahati campus.
The initiative will introduce diploma-level training and B.Tech. engineering programs featuring hands-on training to strengthen the semiconductor talent ecosystem in Assam and Northeast India.
