Rajinikanth's 'Jailer 2' collected ₹36.15 crore in its third week, bringing the total to ₹466.05 crore.
The film's collections have slowed down, making it difficult to reach ₹500 crore in India.
It has become the second-highest-grossing Indian film of the year, behind 'Dhurandhar The Revenge'.
