Eight elected members of the Cine and TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA) resigned, citing a lack of transparency and alleging that Poonam Dhillon and Padmini Kolhapure misused their positions.
The association's general secretary confirmed a total of 11 resignations, though CINTAA officially clarified that the Executive Committee has not been dissolved despite the internal turmoil.
The resigning members are demanding fresh elections to address governance concerns, marking a significant leadership crisis within the organization representing film and television actors.
