Army Chief General Dhiraj Seth travels to Russia to boost defence ties

Chief of Army Staff General Dhiraj Seth is scheduled to visit Russia on Wednesday to hold talks with the Russian military leadership.

The visit aims to review land-forces defence cooperation and explore joint production and technology partnerships beyond a buyer-seller framework.

Discussions will focus on securing spare parts and supplies for Russian-origin equipment currently operated by the Indian Army.
