Northern Ireland Students Receive 2026 GCSE Results

Approximately 32,000 students across Northern Ireland collected their GCSE results on August 20, 2026, with 31.7% of all entries achieving the top A* or A grades.

The 2026 performance remained consistent with the 31.6% A*/A rate recorded in 2025, according to data released by the Northern Ireland exams board, CCEA.
