Cysic suspends bridge after attacker forges minting messages

Cysic temporarily suspended its cross-chain bridge after an attacker allegedly exploited a database vulnerability to forge minting messages.

The exploit resulted in the unauthorized creation of 10 million CYS tokens on the BNB Smart Chain.

The foundation reported that its mainnet remained unaffected while investigations into financial losses and the remaining tokens continue.
