Harmanpreet Singh scored twice, including a crucial penalty corner with 26 seconds remaining to force the shootout, finishing the tournament as joint top-scorer with eight goals.
Belgium converted four shootout attempts, including the decisive goal by Roman Duvekot, to win the 7th-8th place classification match held at the Belfius Hockey Arena in Wavre.
