Palarivattom police arrested 27-year-old Rahul, an assistant manager at a Kochi jewellery store, for allegedly stealing approximately 428 grams of gold ornaments.
The thefts occurred in multiple instances between January 2025 and February 2026, with the stolen ornaments subsequently sold to another person.
Following a complaint by the store owner, the accused was produced before a court and remanded in judicial custody.
