Iran hanged 20-year-old Amirhossein Maleki and 19-year-old Amirhossein Ebrahimi on Tuesday over charges related to January protests in Isfahan.
Rights groups Norway-based Iran Human Rights and HRANA stated that the defendants faced torture, forced confessions, and unfair trials.
The Iranian judiciary maintained that the two men were convicted for brutal actions that led to the deaths of four police officers.
