Akshaj Shenoy to Captain Indian League of Legends Team at Asian Games 2026

Akshaj Shenoy will captain India's six-member League of Legends team at the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, scheduled from September 19 to October 4.

India is sending a 15-member contingent to compete across four eSports disciplines, building on rigorous training regimens under coach Samuel Boudrie.

Shenoy previously led the Indian squad to a fifth-place finish at the 2023 Asian Games where eSports debuted as a medal event.
