Centre Appoints New Directors to National Testing Agency

The Centre appointed IPS officer Ravi Kumar Singh and IAS officer Prasanna Venkatesh V as directors, and IRS officer Amit Samdariya as joint director of the National Testing Agency.

The three officers must take charge within three weeks of the August 27 orders or face potential debarment from the Central Staffing Scheme.

These appointments support a planned overhaul of the NTA, which includes a four-tier paper checking process and the replacement of approximately 600 experts with domain specialists.
