HDFC Bank Submits Successor Candidates To RBI Ahead Of Jagdishan's Exit

HDFC Bank submitted two candidates to the RBI for appointment as its next MD and CEO ahead of Sashidhar Jagdishan's term ending on October 26, 2026.

The bank also proposed reappointing V Srinivasa Rangan and appointing Jimmy Tata as whole-time executive directors.

The lender proposed creating an additional whole-time director position to increase board oversight and strengthen subsidiary governance.
