HDFC Bank Reports 5% Rise in Q2 Net Profit to ₹19,510 Crore

HDFC Bank reported a nearly 5% year-on-year increase in standalone net profit to ₹19,509.96 crore for the second quarter of FY27.

The gross non-performing asset ratio improved to 1.11% as of September 30, 2026, while total deposits climbed 18.8% to ₹33,27,400 crore.

Managing director and chief executive officer Sashidhar Jagdishan concludes his tenure on October 26 and will be replaced by Anup Bagchi.
