Centre Reduces NEET-SS Percentile to 30% and MCC Opens Stray Round

The Union government agreed to reduce the NEET-SS 2025 qualifying percentile from 50% to 30% following a Supreme Court suggestion.

The Medical Counselling Committee commenced a stray round on September 25 to fill the remaining 1,857 vacant seats nationwide.

The Centre also agreed to return 40 vacant in-service seats to Tamil Nadu, where the State reserves 50% of seats for in-service doctors.
