FSSAI Issues Notices To Nestle India And Zydus Wellness Over Claims

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India issued notices to Nestle India and Zydus Wellness over misleading claims in certain food products.

Nestle was asked to provide scientific substantiation for claims regarding whey protein digestion in Lactogen Pro 1 and human milk oligosaccharides in Nan Excella Pro Stage 1.

Zydus Wellness received a notice regarding claims on Complan, including '2X Faster Growth' and 'Supports Concentration and Memory'.
