Actor Ajay Devgn lauded flydubai pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his bravery during flight FZ1073 after a mid-air attack by his co-pilot.
Machchhar was stabbed inside the cockpit while flying a Boeing 737 MAX 8 from Dubai to Tel Aviv with 174 people on board.
Despite his injuries, the captain managed to open the cockpit door, enabling crew and passengers to overpower the attacker before a safe diversion landing.
