Issy Wong Leads England to ODI Series Victory Over Ireland

England secured an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series after defeating Ireland by six wickets in the second match at Derby on Thursday.

Issy Wong claimed her maiden five-wicket haul, finishing with 5-33, as England bowled out Ireland for 165 runs in 47 overs before chasing the target in 23 overs.

Danielle Gibson remained unbeaten on 36 off 22 balls to seal the win, while Amy Hunter top-scored for Ireland with 64 runs in the losing effort.
