Karnataka Minister for School Education Madhu Bangarappa announced plans to recruit 12,000 teachers in the next phase to fill persistent vacancies in government schools.
The state has already recruited approximately 29,000 teachers over the past three years, including a current notification for 15,000 positions.
To improve educational quality, the government has introduced measures like webcasting examinations and separating classes 1 to 5, which were previously taught together under the Nali-Kali programme.
