Manoj Bajpayee stars in Ben Rekhi's 'Last Man In Tower'

Adapted from Aravind Adiga's novel and directed by Ben Rekhi, 'Last Man In Tower' features Manoj Bajpayee as retired schoolteacher Yogesh Mishra, who resists a real estate buyout offer for his Mumbai housing society.

The film explores middle-class desperation and moral collapse as cash-strapped neighbours turn against the lone dissenter, with Boman Irani playing real estate tycoon Dharmen Shah.

While critics praise Bajpayee's dignified performance, reviews note that the contemporary real estate landscape makes the central conflict feel somewhat dated compared to the book's initial release period.
