Dilip Mahadu Gavit Wins Gold at Commonwealth Games

Dilip Mahadu Gavit won gold and Mohammed Basil Morssinganakath secured silver in the men’s 100m T47 para athletics event at the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Long jumper Murali Sreeshankar added a silver medal to India's tally with a best effort of 8.09m during the Day 7 finals in Glasgow.

India currently holds 15 medals, including three gold, nine silver, and three bronze, placing the nation eighth in the overall medal standings.
