BCCI Announces Election for IPL Governing Council Members

BCCI Electoral Officer AK Joti has notified elections for two IPL Governing Council member posts, scheduled to take place during the Annual General Meeting on September 18.

Incumbent members Arun Singh Dhumal and Khairul Jamal Majumdar are expected to be re-elected unopposed for their one-year terms, with nominations due on September 9 or 10.

The IPL Governing Council consists of seven members, including four general body representatives, the BCCI CEO, an Indian Cricketers’ Association representative, and a CAG nominee.
