Bangladeshi National Working at Indian Naval Academy Arrested in Kannur

Kannur Police arrested 32-year-old Bangladeshi national Viplav Soren from the Indian Naval Academy in Ezhimala, marking the sixth such arrest in the district in four days.

Soren had worked at the academy as a temporary employee for about a year while authorities investigate his identity and employment background.

The arrest follows the detention of five Bangladeshi women in Kannur who were allegedly staying illegally with fake Indian documents and working at a local spa.
