OpenAI to Merge Chat and Work Tabs in ChatGPT Desktop App

OpenAI is merging the Chat and Work tabs within the desktop version of ChatGPT to make the user experience more convenient and easier to navigate.

The upcoming change will initially be available only to select users for feedback before rolling it out widely across the platform.

The merger will enable users to consume tokens from the same allowance pool and move from exploring an idea to execution in one place.
