Jharkhand LoP Babulal Marandi alleges cover-up in recruitment exam CID probe

Jharkhand Leader of the Opposition Babulal Marandi alleged on Sunday that the ongoing CID probe into recruitment exam irregularities is protecting influential individuals and shielding big fish.

Marandi claimed that statements identifying high-profile politicians and officials are omitted during interrogation, and criticized the lack of videography during the statement-recording process.

Urging Chief Minister Hemant Soren to avoid forcing students back to the streets, Marandi demanded an immediate recommendation for a CBI inquiry and preservation of all digital evidence.
