Gurindervir Singh Eliminated from Commonwealth Games 100m

Indian sprinter Gurindervir Singh failed to qualify for the 100m semifinals at the Commonwealth Games 2026 after finishing 28th overall in the heats.

Despite finishing second in Heat 4, his time of 10.39 seconds was insufficient to meet the qualification threshold of 10.24 seconds set by the final qualifier.

The 25-year-old, who holds the national record of 10.09 seconds, struggled in the 15-degree Celsius rainy conditions in Glasgow compared to his record-breaking run in Ranchi.
