Indian debutant Neeraj Chauhan defeated South Korea's three-time Olympic medallist Kim Je-deok 6-4 to reach the men's individual recurve quarter-finals at the Asian Games on Tuesday.
Fellow Indian archer Dhiraj Bommadevara and 17-year-old Kumkum Mohod also advanced to the quarter-finals in their respective individual events in Aichi-Nagoya.
Chauhan will next face Bhutan's Paris Olympian Lam Dorji on October 3 for a place in the last four.
