Rajasthan achieves target of planting 10 crore saplings ahead of schedule

Rajasthan met its target of planting 10 crore saplings under the 'Hariyalo Rajasthan' campaign ahead of the 2026-27 schedule, according to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma.

Launched in August 2024, the campaign aims to enhance environmental health and combat desertification through initiatives like the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' public movement.

Under the Aravali Green Development Project, ₹250 crore has been invested across 19 districts to support soil development and plantation efforts.
