The BCCI has completed its state-of-the-art Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru, a project spanning 40 acres that was initiated on February 14, 2022, to replace the National Cricket Academy.
Former BCCI secretary Jay Shah led the project, personally overseeing legal hurdles and land regularisation challenges to ensure the infrastructure was fully operational by November 2024.
Incumbent secretary Devajit Saikia confirmed the facility was built on a war footing, with VVS Laxman playing a key role in the transition and development process since December 2021.
