US and China to Establish Communication Channel for AI Incidents

The United States and China announced the establishment of a bilateral communication channel for artificial intelligence incidents following a Washington summit.

Presidents Donald Trump and Xi Jinping agreed to use the term Super Intelligence rather than artificial intelligence during the U.S.-China SI Dialogue.

The White House stated that the next bilateral exchange regarding the risks and benefits of the technology is scheduled to occur by November.
