Eva Marie Saint, renowned for her roles in On the Waterfront and North by Northwest, died of natural causes at her Los Angeles home at age 102.
She won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in her 1954 film debut On the Waterfront directed by Elia Kazan.
The New Jersey native later starred as spy Eve Kendall in Alfred Hitchcock's 1959 thriller North by Northwest opposite Cary Grant.
