A five-member delegation from Sri Lanka's ruling Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna will embark on a four-day visit to India starting September 27.

Led by general secretary Tilvin Silva, the delegation is scheduled to meet BJP national president Nitin Nabin and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar.

The visit aims to facilitate the exchange of organisational experiences and deepen political ties between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the JVP.
