Veteran ghazal singer Talat Aziz lost treasured paintings, instruments, and belongings in a severe fire that gutted parts of his home on October 2.
Currently staying in a friend's apartment, Aziz confirmed that restoration work has begun with hopes of moving back into his residence by January or February.
The 69-year-old expressed gratitude that his family escaped the blaze without injuries and thanked well-wishers worldwide for their support.
