Farmers launch five-day sit-in outside Punjab Minister's office

Farmers under the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha banner launched a five-day sit-in outside Punjab Cabinet Minister Ravjot Singh's office in Hoshiarpur on Monday.

The protest demands a complete loan waiver, guaranteed minimum support prices for multiple crops, and the withdrawal of cases registered during previous agitations.

Protesters warned of intensifying their agitation by blocking railway tracks and highways if the state government refuses to hold talks by September 16.
