British novelist and politician Jeffrey Archer died peacefully at his home on October 5 at the age of 86, publisher HarperCollins confirmed.
His final novel, Adam and Eve, was released globally on October 6, just one day after his death.
Archer sold over 300 million books worldwide and served in the House of Lords after a political career under Margaret Thatcher and John Major.
