Passenger vehicle wholesales grow in double digits in September

India's passenger vehicle wholesales posted double-digit growth in September 2026, led by market leader Maruti Suzuki India on strong consumer demand.

Maruti Suzuki reported total sales of 236,013 units with a 24.43 percent year-on-year increase, while domestic sales reached 185,252 units.

Major automakers including Hyundai, Tata Motors, and Mahindra also posted strong year-on-year sales growth supported by festive season demand.
