Himachal Pradesh Governor Kavinder Gupta announced the addition of 320 postgraduate medical seats supported by a ₹415 crore central allocation.
Speaking at Palampur, Gupta stated that the initiative will strengthen medical education and increase the availability of specialist doctors in remote areas.
The Governor called for coordinated efforts among health institutions and medical societies to expand advanced healthcare delivery across difficult terrains.
