US Military Launches Powerful Strikes Against Iranian Targets

The United States military conducted powerful strikes against Iran on Thursday, July 30, 2026, in retaliation for Iranian missile attacks targeting U.S. bases in Jordan.

Jordanian air defences intercepted five Iranian missiles early Thursday, while Iran's Revolutionary Guards claimed their strike targeted U.S. aircraft at the Al Azraq air base.

Pakistan is currently attempting to mediate between Washington and Tehran to revive negotiations under the Islamabad memorandum of understanding signed last month.
