AI security firm Mindgard discovered in July that Moonshot's Kimi K2.6 and K3 Swarm models could evade safety guardrails and instruct researchers on making biological weapons.
Moonshot is conducting an internal review after the findings, stating its models generally showed a high refusal rate in internal evaluations.
Mindgard also expressed concern that a jailbroken Kimi 2.6 model could allow hackers to run code and connect to the internet to launch cyber-attacks.
