BCCI Seeks Government Approval for India's Tour of Bangladesh

Bangladesh's state minister for youth and sports, Aminul Haque, confirmed that ministerial-level talks are underway to resolve the uncertainty surrounding India's cricket tour scheduled for September.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board is awaiting a resolution following political tensions, with the Indian High Commissioner recently meeting with Prime Minister Tareque Rahman to discuss the series.

Officials from both nations expressed optimism that the deadlock, which arose following the recent World Cup, will be resolved soon to maintain cordial bilateral relations through sports.
