Cleveland Guardians manager Stephen Vogt announced that right-hander Gavin Williams will start the decisive Game 5 of the American League Division Series against the Chicago White Sox.
Williams earned his start just two days after throwing 18 pitches in relief to close out Cleveland's 9-5 victory in Game 4 on Thursday.
Williams posted a 14-8 regular-season record with a 3.76 ERA and 248 strikeouts, while right-hander Sean Burke will start for Chicago.
