The Bihar state education department instructed district officials to strictly enforce a 75% attendance rule for students in Saraswati Vidya Niketan Model Schools.
The six-point directive bans using model schools as police housing or accommodation and discourages designating them as examination centers.
Officials were also directed to arrange special remedial classes for students who fail Class 9 and to ensure proper staffing arrangements.
