Huawei Launches Mate XT 2 Trifold Smartphone in China

Huawei launched the Mate XT 2, a new trifold smartphone featuring the Kirin 9050 Pro chip, designed to maintain its lead in the Chinese premium handset market.

The device offers 42% better performance than its predecessor and includes a redesigned folding mechanism, improved water resistance, and an optional privacy screen.

Huawei currently holds a 22.6% share of the Chinese smartphone market and dominates the foldable segment with 68% of shipments as of the second quarter.
