Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged concerns over the weaponisation of technology and critical minerals at the Brics Summit on Sunday, calling for greater cooperation for inclusive global growth.
Speaking in Hindi at the outreach session attended by 10 member states and partner countries, Modi noted that Brics solutions must be adaptable and accessible to meet the needs of the Global South.
The summit concluded with the adoption of the New Delhi Declaration on Saturday, following agreements on an integrated early warning system for infectious diseases and a logistics supply chain framework.
