A Russian air strike on a warehouse in Myla village, Bucha district, killed 37 people and injured 42 others on Saturday, according to regional governor Tymur Tkachenko.
The attack damaged at least 50 residential buildings and a care facility, prompting the evacuation of over 380 people as authorities launched a criminal investigation into potential official negligence.
Prime Minister Sergiy Koretsky condemned the incident, citing failures to learn from a similar deadly munitions depot explosion in Vyshneve that occurred this past July.
